Tell me a better way to start your day (or end it) than biscuits and gravy. It just seems like a such a decadent breakfast, and some mornings just call for decadent. I’m not one to use the term “immaculate” often, but this bundt is immaculate. It’s immaculate for breakfast and the leftovers are immaculate for dinner (for those counting at home, I just said immaculate four times). It’s totally ok to pre-make the gravy the night before, but if you do, re-heat the gravy before assembling your bundt. Immaculate (there, now we are at my lucky number, 5).

Prep pan
Sausage gravy ingredients
- 1 pound of pork sausage (I have also made this recipe with Impossible Plant-Based Sausage and it works just as well)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 cups of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A few shakes of your favorite seasonings (I used garlic powder and onion powder)
Bundt ingredients
- 2 Cans of 16oz Refrigerated Biscuit Dough
- 1 cup of shredded white cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°. Apply Bundt Gunk to your pan or spray with non-stick spray.
Step 2
Brown the sausage in a large skillet until fully cooked.
Step 3
Add butter to the pan and mix it around to help it melt.
Step 4
Add the flour to the pan constantly mix it with the sausage for two minutes.
Step 5
Add the milk to the pan and your seasonings.
Step 6
Reserve ½ cup of the gravy for serving.
Step 7
Mix until combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 8
Cut each biscuit into six pieces.
Step 9
Place enough of the cut biscuit pieces to cover the bottom of the pan.
Step 10
Spread half of the gravy over the cut biscuits.
Step 11
Top the gravy with the shredded cheese.
Step 12
Layer on the enough biscuit pieces to cover the lower layers. You may not need to use all of the pieces you’ve cut, depending on the size of your bundt.
Step 13
Top with the remaining gravy.
Step 14
Bake for 45 minutes.
Step 15
Wait ten minutes before flipping it on to your serving plate.
Step 16
Use the reserved gravy to decorate the top of the bundt like it’s frosting.
Step 17
Immaculate.
